The Hanging Temple, also called Hengshan Hanging Temple or Xuankong Temple, is an ancient Chinese trestle-style cantilevered temple. It is China's oldest extant and best-preserved high-altitude cliff-face wooden building. In addition, the Hanging Temple is the only ancient building within China that truly integrates elements of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism.
