King Ping of Zhou, named Ji Yijiu (?–720 BC), moved his capital from Haojing (today's southwest Xi'an, Shaanxi Province) to Luoyi (today's Luoyang, Henan Province) at the end of the Western Zhou Dynasty (1046–771 BC).
