Records of the Grand Historian  ( Shiji ) is the first general history book of China in the  jizhuanti  (biographical historiography) style. It is also titled  Records of Lord Grand Historian  ( Taishigong Ji ) and  Records of Grand History  ( Taishi Ji ).
