National Flag
The national flag of the People's Republic of China is a red rectangle emblazoned with five stars. The proportion of its length and height is 3 to 2. On its upper left are five yellow stars. Among them, one is bigger than the others and stands to the left of the other four, with its circumcircle's diameter extending to three-tenths of the flag's height. The other four are smaller and have circumcircle's diameters being one-tenth of the height of the flag. Standing in an arching ring by the right of the bigger star, each has an angle pointing right to the center of the bigger star. The red color of the flag symbolizes revolution, while the yellow color of the stars signifies brightness. The five stars and their relationship stand for the great unity enjoyed by the Chinese people of all ethnic groups under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.
