The multi-party cooperation and political consultation under the leadership of Communist Party of China is an essential party system in China. Currently, there are eight democratic parties in China: the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK), the China Democratic League (CDL), the China National Democratic Construction Association (CNDCA), the China Association Promoting Democracy (CAPD), the Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party (CPWDP), the China Zhi Gong Party, the Jiusan Society, and the Taiwan Democratic Self-Government League (TDSGL). In addition, there is also another non-party establishment, namely, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce.
