It is an ethnic minority group in China. The Jino people mainly inhabit Jino Township on the Mount Jino in Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, with a population of 26,025 in 2020. The Jino people have their own spoken language, Jino, but no script. They have been living in the Mount Jino since ancient times.
